Introduction

This course is intended to provide a basic overview of USDA’s Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP). It will briefly touch on over-arching program requirements and how the program may be monitored.

• Describe who is eligible to participate in the CACFP (and who is not)
• Discuss the types of CACFP sponsors
• Understand how the CACFP is monitored
